Leaving Canada
After 22 days at sea we picked up a mooring in Keehi Lagoon at 0200 June 27. High winds, no wind, equipment failures(our rolling furling foil separated and tore our genoa) - we had it all but it was a great passage, largely due to Fireman Bob. We met Bob 20 years ago sailing the South Seas and he was great to have along as crew. Not only did he teach Emma knots and salty limericks, he helped the skipper keep the vessel sailing.
